Tennessee High School Basketball - Austin-East knocked off by Fulton
January 14, 2023: Knoxville, TN 37917 The Fulton Falcons basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Austin-East Roadrunners to 69 in the Falcons league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carter for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Fulton will meet a Green Hornets team coming off a 69-51 league win over Gibbs (Corryton, TN). The Green Hornets record now stands at 14-3.
The Roadrunners (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Cherokees enter the 3A District 5 contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, South-Doyle ran past Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN), 67-48, in a league contest.
