Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA) and the visiting Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA), saw Danville's basketball squad hold off Central Columbia by a tally of 58-54.

With the victory, Danville improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Ironmen host Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA) to confront the Wildcats in a Heartland I challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Mifflinburg lost 55-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Montoursville (Montoursville, PA)

Next up, the Bluejays confront the Midd-West Mustangs (Middleburg, PA) in a Heartland I challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Central Columbia will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record.
