Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA) and the visiting Montoursville Warriors (Montoursville, PA), saw Danville's basketball squad knock off Montoursville by a tally of 73-54.

With the victory, Danville improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Ironmen host Midd-West (Middleburg, PA) to play the Mustangs in a Heartland I challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Midd-West lost 52-45 in their recent league challenge against Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA) in a Heartland I challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Montoursville will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 59-44 non-league loss to Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA).
