The Heartland Huskies basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Deshler Dragons to 27 in the Huskies non-league victory on Saturday.

The Huskies now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host High Plains for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Heartland will battle a Storm team coming off a 75-41 non-league win over Dorchester (Dorchester, NE). The Storm record now stands at 5-7.

The Dragons (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Harvard (Harvard, NE). The Cardinals come into the D2 District 2 contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Harvard was routed by Blue Hill (Blue Hill, NE), 64-19, in a non-league contest.
