January 14, 2023: Rector, AR 72461 In Saturday's league outing, the Rector Cougars (Rector, AR) basketball squad felled the visiting Earle Bulldogs (Earle, AR), by a margin of 73-58.
The Cougars (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR). The Warriors go into the 2A Region 3 outing with a 7-9 record. In their last outing, East Poinsett County thwarted Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR), 77-56, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Cross County for a 2A Region 3 outing on Wednesday, January 18. Earle will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 77-56 league loss to East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-12.
