In Saturday's non-league outing, the Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS) basketball squad beat the visiting Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS), by a count of 61-42.

The Wildcats (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bay Springs (Bay Springs, MS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Bay Springs defeated Mississippi School for the Deaf (Jackson, MS), 57-12, in a league outing.
