Alaska High School Basketball - Seward knocked off by Houston
January 14, 2023: Big Lake, AK 99652 The Houston Hawks basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Seward Seahawks to 41 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hawks now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Edgecumbe for a 3A Eastern contest on Wednesday, January 18. Houston will meet a Braves team coming off a 72-40 non-league win over Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Braves record now stands at 3-1.
The Seahawks (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kenai Central (Kenai, AK). The Kardinals enter the 3A Peninsula contest with a 6-3 record.
