Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Langford Lions (Langford, SD), 45-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Britton-Hecla upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Braves travel to Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Waubay/Summit won 55-48 in their recent non-league bout against Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] (Rosholt, SD)
