South Dakota High School Basketball - Leola/Frederick holds off Britton-Hecla
January 24, 2023: Leola, SD 57456 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) and the visiting Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD), saw Leola/Frederick's basketball squad hold off Britton-Hecla by a tally of 41-35.
With the victory, Leola/Frederick improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Faulkton (Faulkton, SD) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Faulkton lost 75-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD)
Next up, the Braves confront the Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds (Wyndmere, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Britton-Hecla will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Warbirds come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 54-30 non-league win over Wilmot (Wilmot, SD).
