In Saturday's league outing, the Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Morris Redskins (Morris, IL), by a margin of 48-20.

The Pirates (17-5) will now prepare for their outing against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers go into the Interstate 8 outing with a 8-14 record. In their last outing, Plano was trounced by LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL), 46-36, in a league outing.

The Redskins now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they host Rochelle for a Interstate 8 outing on Saturday, January 21.
