Colorado High School Ice Hockey - Woodland Park drops to Cheyenne Mountain
January 14, 2023: Woodland Park, CO 80863 In Saturday's league bout, the visiting Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks ice hockey squad scored a close 9-2 victory over the Woodland Park Panthers.
With the victory, Cheyenne Mountain betters its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Red-Tailed Hawks travel to Monarch (Louisville, CO) to confront the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 5-1.
The Panthers now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Palmer for a 4A South bout on Monday, January 16. Woodland Park will confront a Terrors squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Doherty (Colorado Springs, CO). The Terrors record now stands at 3-6.
