Kentucky High School Basketball - Clinton County nips Cumberland County
January 14, 2025: Albany, KY 42602 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) and the visiting Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY), observed Clinton County's basketball team edge Cumberland County by a score of 57-54.
The Bulldogs (16-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY). The Falcons come into the District 16 challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Monroe County was tipped by Barren County (Glasgow, KY), 66-44, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) in a District 16 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Cumberland County will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 75-66 non-league loss to Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY).
