In Tuesday's league test, the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) basketball squad trounced the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD), by a score of 101-42.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) in a VISAA Division I test, on Thursday, January 16. Gonzaga will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 10-3 record after their 74-58 league loss to DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD).
