January 14, 2025: Hagerstown, MD 21740 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots (Frederick, MD) and the host South Hagerstown Rebels (Hagerstown, MD), observed Governor Thomas Johnson's basketball team knock off South Hagerstown by a score of 77-64.
The Patriots (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD). The Leopards come into the CMC challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Smithsburg dropped by Heritage Academy (Hagerstown, MD), 54-50, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD) in a CMC challenge, on Friday, January 17. South Hagerstown will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 69-47 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, MD).
