The Union Hill Bulldogs basketball squad (Gilmer, TX), was nudged 35-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Saltillo Lions (Saltillo, TX)

With the victory, Saltillo advances its record to 17-10 on the year. The Lions travel to Avinger (Avinger, TX) to meet the Indians in a 1A Region III District 20 battle on Friday, January 17. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 1-16. Avinger lost 65-32 in their recent league battle against Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Avery for a 1A Region III District 20 battle on Thursday, January 16.
