With the victory, Brown County advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Hornets host Lewistown (Lewistown, IL) to meet the Indians in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 16. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 9-12. Lewistown lost 45-30 in their recent non-league battle against Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL)

The Eagles now own a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central/Southeastern for a West Central - North battle on Saturday, January 18.
