Georgia High School Basketball - Temple can't hold off Model
January 14, 2025: Temple, GA 30179 Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Temple Tigers (Temple, GA), 45-39 in a league match.
With the victory, Model advances its record to 13-3 on the year. The Blue Devils host Darlington (Rome, GA) to face the Tigers in a A D1 Region 6 match on Friday, January 17. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 7-7. Darlington won 55-26 in their recent league match against Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA)
The Tigers now own a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haralson County for a A D1 Region 6 match on Thursday, January 16. Temple will face a Rebels squad coming off a 55-26 league loss to Darlington (Rome, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 2-11.
