January 15, 2023: Ashburn, VA 20147 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Winston-Salem Christian National Lions (Winston-Salem, NC) and the host Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA), saw Winston-Salem Christian National's basketball squad overcome Virginia Academy by a tally of 58-43.
With the victory, Winston-Salem Christian National improves its record to 23-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to confront the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Miller School of Albemarle won 57-51 in their recent non-league challenge against TPLS Christian Academy (Richmond, VA)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Quality Education Academy Fighting Pharaohs (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16.
