Hanover Bears (Hanover, NH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Stark Generals (Weare, NH), 46-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Hanover upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Bears host Laconia (Laconia, NH) to play the Sachems in a Division II bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Sachems go into the bout with a record of 7-1.

Next up, the Generals play the Merrimack Valley The Pride (Penacook, NH) in a Division II bout, on Thursday, January 18. Stark will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The The Pride go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 53-19 league win over ConVal (Peterborough, NH).
