The Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD) basketball edged the host River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD), 59-54 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Gladiators now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wilde Lake for a Howard County bout on Friday, January 17. Glenelg will play a Wildecats team coming off a 66-62 league loss to Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD). The Wildecats record now stands at 6-4.
