The Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) basketball were winner over the host Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays (Johnstown, PA), 61-45 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Penns Manor for a Heritage bout on Friday, January 17. Homer-Center will play a Comets team coming off a 55-12 league win over Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA). The Comets record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Conemaugh Valley falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Blue jays travel to Portage (Portage, PA) to play the Mustangs in a Heritage bout on Friday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Portage lost 71-35 in their recent league bout against River Valley (Blairsville, PA)
