The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA) and the visiting Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays (Johnstown, PA), observed River Valley's basketball team overwhelm Conemaugh Valley by a score of 89-26.

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA). The Indians come into the Heritage challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Conemaugh Township trounced Homer-Center (Homer City, PA), 31-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Jays encounter the Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Friday, December 6. Conemaugh Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Red Dragons come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 56-54 league loss to Portage (Portage, PA).
