In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting River Valley Panthers basketball team scored a big 48-19 win over the Marion Center Stingers.

The Panthers (21-0) will now prepare for their contest against West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA). The Wolves come into the Heritage contest with a 3-9 record.

In their next game, the Stingers battle the Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) in a Heritage contest, on Friday, January 31. Marion Center will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 4-12 record after their 46-37 league loss to Purchase Line (Commodore, PA).
