The Penns Manor Comets basketball squad (Clymer, PA), was nudged 59-53 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA)

With the victory, River Valley advances its record to 17-0 on the year. The Panthers host Homer-Center (Homer City, PA) to meet the Wildcats in a Heritage battle on Friday, January 24. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 4-10.

The Comets now own a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marion Center for a Heritage battle on Monday, January 27.
