The Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays basketball squad (Johnstown, PA), was crushed 62-32 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA)

With the victory, Marion Center advances its record to 11-3 on the year. The Stingers host Cambria Heights (Patton, PA) to meet the Highlanders in a Heritage battle on Friday, January 10. The Highlanders enter the battle with a record of 8-4. Cambria Heights won 43-39 in their recent league battle against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA)

The Blue Jays now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Penns Manor for a Heritage battle on Monday, January 13. Conemaugh Valley will meet a Comets squad coming off a 68-26 league win over Portage (Portage, PA). The Comets record now stands at 10-2.
