The Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons bounced the visiting East Gaston Warriors basketball squad by a final score of 65-15 in Wednesday's league outing.

Next, the Gryphons clash with the Xaverian Clippers (Brooklyn, NY) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 18. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record.

The Warriors (2-14) will now prepare for their outing against Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Bulldogs come into the 1A/2A Southern Piedmont outing with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Burns smashed Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC), 56-54, in a league contest.
