With the victory, Wayland upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Northview (Grand Rapids, MI) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 7-5. Northview lost 63-33 in their recent non-league match against West Catholic (Grand Rapids, MI)
The Trojans now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wyoming for a Ottawa-Kent - Gold match on Friday, January 17. Thornapple Kellogg will face a Wolves squad coming off a 53-47 non-league loss to Unity Christian (Hudsonville, MI). The Wolves record now stands at 7-3.
