In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting South Sumter Raiders basketball squad scored a nice 62-54 victory over the Lake Weir Hurricanes.

With the victory, South Sumter advances its record to 6-3 on the year. The Raiders host Trinity Catholic (Ocala, FL) to face the Celtics in a non-league match on Friday, January 16.
