The Alcona Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Oscoda Owls to 50 in the Tigers league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mio-Au Sable for a North Star contest on Thursday, January 19. Alcona will battle a Thunderbolts team coming off a 57-17 league win over Rogers City (Rogers City, MI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 8-0.

The Owls (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Heston Academy (St. Helen, MI). The Patriots enter the North Star contest with a 5-3 record.
