January 16, 2023: Silverton, OR 97381 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Silverton Foxes (Silverton, OR) and the visiting Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR), saw Silverton's basketball squad overcome Corvallis by a tally of 51-42.
With the victory, Silverton improves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Foxes travel to Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR) to play the Raiders in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Crescent Valley lost 47-45 in their recent league challenge against Central (Independence, OR)
Next up, the Spartans play the West Albany Bulldogs (Albany, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Corvallis will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 65-60 league loss to South Albany (Albany, OR).
