February 7, 2023: Independence, OR 97351 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Central Panthers (Independence, OR) and the visiting Silverton Foxes (Silverton, OR), saw Central's basketball squad overcome Silverton by a tally of 55-42.
With the victory, Central improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to West Albany (Albany, OR) to confront the Bulldogs in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge on Friday, February 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. West Albany won 59-45 in their recent league challenge against Lebanon (Lebanon, OR)
Next up, the Foxes confront the South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge, on Friday, February 10. Silverton will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 69-45 league win over McKay (Salem, OR).
