Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Avalon Lancers (Avalon, CA) and the visiting San Gabriel Academy Eagles (San Gabriel, CA), saw Avalon's basketball squad overcome San Gabriel Academy by a tally of 48-35.

With the victory, Avalon improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Lancers host Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Capistrano Valley Christian lost 59-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA)
