January 16, 2023: Montague, MI 49437 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Montague Wildcats (Montague, MI) and the visiting Fruitport Trojans (Fruitport, MI), saw Montague's basketball squad overcome Fruitport by a tally of 25-15.
With the victory, Montague improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Hart (Hart, MI) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Hart won 72-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Manistee (Manistee, MI)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Hamilton Hawkeyes (Hamilton, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Blue challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Fruitport will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Hawkeyes come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 45-41 league win over Unity Christian (Hudsonville, MI).
