Michigan High School Basketball - Fruitport nips North Muskegon
January 3, 2023: North Muskegon, MI 49445 Fruitport Trojans (Fruitport, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host North Muskegon Norsemen (North Muskegon, MI), 40-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Fruitport upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Holland Christian (Holland, MI) to play the Maroons in a Ottawa-Kent - Blue bout on Friday, January 6. The Maroons come into the bout with a record of 4-3.
Next up, the Norsemen play the West Michigan Aviation Academy (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. North Muskegon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
