Michigan High School Basketball - Whitehall overwhelms Fruitport
December 20, 2022: Fruitport, MI 49415 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Whitehall Vikings (Whitehall, MI) and the host Fruitport Trojans (Fruitport, MI), saw Whitehall's basketball squad wallop Fruitport by a tally of 41-19.
With the victory, Whitehall improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Oakridge (Muskegon, MI) to confront the Eagles in a Western Michigan challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Oakridge won 47-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Coopersville (Coopersville, MI)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Montague Wildcats (Montague, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Fruitport will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 35-29 non-league loss to Mona Shores (Norton Shores, MI).
