The Kennett Eagles basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the host Merrimack Valley The Pride to 26 in the Eagles league victory on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berlin for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Kennett will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 44-23 league loss to Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH). The Mountaineers record now stands at 2-6.

The The Pride (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lebanon (Lebanon, NH). The Raiders come into the Division II contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Lebanon dropped by Coe-Brown Academy (Northwood, NH), 52-45, in a league contest.
