January 16, 2024: Ridgeland, SC 29936 Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels (Ridgeland, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks (Walterboro, SC), 54-46 in a league bout.
With the win, Thomas Heyward Academy upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Rebels travel to John Paul II (Ridgeland, SC) to play the Golden Warrriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Golden Warrriors go into the bout with a record of 8-6. John Paul II lost 49-39 in their recent league bout against Hilton Head Prep (Hilton Head Island, SC)
Next up, the War Hawks play the Savannah Classical Academy Spartans (Savannah, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Colleton Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 73-70 league loss to Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA).
