Texas High School Basketball - Estacado overwhelms Levelland
January 16, 2024: Levelland, TX 79336 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) and the host Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX), saw Estacado's basketball squad wallop Levelland by a tally of 86-45.
With the victory, Estacado improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Matadors host Snyder (Snyder, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 4A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-15. Snyder lost 53-43 in their recent league challenge against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX)
Next up, the Lobos confront the Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Levelland will attempt to improve on its 9-16 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 9-18 record after their 52-46 league loss to Big Spring (Big Spring, TX).
