The Point Pleasant Big Blacks ran past the visiting Gallia Academy Blue Devils basketball team by a final score of 49-41 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Big Blacks face the Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH) in a Twin State game, on Thursday, January 18. Point Pleasant will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 11-1 record after their 49-44 league win over Warren (Vincent, OH).
