Washington High School Basketball - Monroe topped by Shorecrest
January 16, 2024: Monroe, WA 98272 The Shorecrest Scots basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Monroe Bearcats to 48 in the Scots league victory on Tuesday.
The Scots now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arlington for a 2A/3A Wesco contest on Thursday, January 18. Shorecrest will battle a Eagles team coming off a 77-61 league win over Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-4.
The Bearcats (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA). The Warriors come into the 2A/3A Wesco contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Edmonds-Woodway was defeated by Arlington (Arlington, WA), 77-61, in a league contest.
