The Nash Central Bulldogs basketball team (Rocky Mount, NC), was toppled 57-44 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC)

The Cougars now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a 2A Eastern Plains battle on Friday, January 19. SouthWest Edgecombe will confront a Pam Pack team coming off a 69-66 league win over Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC). The Pam Pack record now stands at 10-6.
