January 16, 2025: Newark, NJ The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Marion P. Thomas (Newark, NJ) and the visiting Global Studies (Newark, NJ), observed Marion P. Thomas's basketball team knock off Global Studies by a score of 62-54.
The (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Wallington (Wallington, NJ). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-11 record. In their last challenge, Wallington was knocked off by Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ), 61-30, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the encounter the College Achieve Knights (Asbury Park, NJ) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Global Studies will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 72-42 non-league loss to Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ).
