New York High School Basketball - William Floyd knocks off Walt Whitman
January 16, 2025: Huntington Station, NY 11746 In Thursday's league contest, the visiting William Floyd Colonials basketball team scored a good 71-60 win over the Walt Whitman Wildcats.
The Colonials (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai, NY). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Mount Sinai defeated Hampton Bays (Hampton Bays, NY), 77-15, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Patchogue-Medford Raiders (Medford, NY) in a Section 11 AAA-1 contest, on Thursday, January 23. Walt Whitman will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record.
