January 16, 2025: Webb, MS 38966 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the West Tallahatchie Choctaws (Webb, MS) and the visiting West Bolivar Eagles (Rosedale, MS), observed West Tallahatchie's basketball team knock off West Bolivar by a score of 50-36.
The Choctaws (6-12) will now prepare for their challenge against South Delta (Rolling Fork, MS). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Region 5 challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, South Delta was knocked off by West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS), 48-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Leland Cubs (Leland, MS) in a 1A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, January 17. West Bolivar will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 49-37 league loss to Shaw (Shaw, MS).
