With the victory, Akron-Westfield upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Westerners host George-Little Rock (George, IA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 8-4. George-Little Rock won 52-37 in their recent non-league match against Trinity Christian (Hull, IA)
The Cubs now sport a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parker for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. Alcester-Hudson will face a Pheasants squad coming off a 59-26 non-league loss to Freeman (Freeman, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 0-9.
