The High Point Central Bison basketball squad (High Point, NC), was crushed 59-26 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC)

With the victory, Atkins advances its record to 3-11 on the year. The Camels host Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC) to meet the Cougars in a 3A Mid-State battle on Friday, January 17. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 13-1. Rockingham County won 56-10 in their recent league battle against High Point Central (High Point, NC)

The Bison now own a 0-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Guilford for a 3A Mid-State battle on Friday, January 17. High Point Central will meet a Storm squad coming off a 56-36 league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Storm record now stands at 3-13.
