Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC), 53-45 in a league match.

With the victory, Southern Guilford upgrades its record to 6-14 on the year. The Storm travel to Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC) to face the Golden Eagles in a 3A Mid-State match on Tuesday, February 4. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 16-3. Ben L. Smith won 58-45 in their recent league match against Dudley (Greensboro, NC)

The Camels now sport a 3-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern Guilford for a 3A Mid-State match on Tuesday, February 4. Atkins will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 48-30 league loss to Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-12.
