Michigan High School Basketball - Meridian overwhelms Beaverton
January 16, 2025: Beaverton, MI 48612 The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Beaverton Beavers to 41 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now have a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Louis for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Meridian will confront a Sharks team coming off a 52-31 non-league win over Pinconning (Pinconning, MI). The Sharks record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Beaverton falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Harrison (Harrison, MI) to confront the Hornets in a Jack Pine game on Wednesday, January 22. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 3-3.
