Texas High School Basketball - Brenham overwhelms Lake Creek

The Brenham Cubs basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Lake Creek Lions to 36 in the Cubs league triumph on Friday.

The Cubs now have a 19-10 record. They play next when they travel to College Station for a 5A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, January 20. Brenham will confront a Cougars team coming off a 42-37 league win over Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 14-10.

With the loss, Lake Creek falls to 5-14 on the year. The Lions host Montgomery (Montgomery, TX) to clash with the Bears in a 5A Region III District 17 outing on Tuesday, January 20. The Bears enter the outing with a record of 20-6. Montgomery won 62-59 in their recent league outing against Rudder (Bryan, TX)
