Minnesota High School Basketball - Farmington nips Shakopee
January 17, 2022: Farmington, MN 55024 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Farmington Tigers (Farmington, MN) and the visiting Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN), saw Farmington's basketball squad hold off Shakopee by a count of 74-73.
With the victory, Farmington upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN) to play the Cougars in a AAAA Section 1 challenge on Friday, January 21. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-4.
Next up, the Sabers play the Burnsville Blaze (Burnsville, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Shakopee will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Blaze come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 72-42 league loss to Rosemount (Rosemount, MN).
